Since our beginning, over ten years ago, Frog Ranch Foods has received numerous national awards for our products and packaging. In addition to the hundreds of letters, thousands of phone calls, and incalculable number of emails we have received, these awards are a testament to a simple fact: You won't find better looking, fresher tasting salsa and pickles on the market!
Here are a few of our proudest moments:
Just a few months ago, in June 2005, Frog Ranch Hot & Spicy Peppered Pickles were named Editor's Choice in Chile Pepper magazine's Hot Flashes: Pickle Paradise.
Perhaps most notable of all, Frog Ranch won the coveted first place Golden
Chile at the National Fiery Food Challenge for six years in a
row. Each of our Salsas has been awarded the Golden Chile, as have our
Zesty Bread & Butter Pickles.
The Fiery Food Challenge is the most recognized,
most prestigious competition of zesty products in the industry. In more than 80 categories
from salsa to apparel, entrants vie for the coveted first place Golden Chile award. The
Fiery Food Challenge is sponsored by Chile Pepper Magazine.
In the 2005 Scovie Awards our Mild Salsa won 2nd place in the Professional Mild/Medium
Salsa category, and our Zesty Bread & Butter Pickles won another 2nd place in the
Professional Condiments category. These are the most recent of multiple Scovies we have
been awarded over the years, which include 1st place in the Flat Art, Product Label
category in 2001, for our Hot & Spicy Peppered Pickles.
Once a year in
Albuquerque, New Mexico, hundreds of products are blind-tasted by culinary professionals.
Only the very best fiery foods receive the famous Scovie Awards. The Scovies are sponsored
by Sunbelt Shows, Inc. (producers of the National Fiery Foods & Barbecue Show) and Fiery
Foods & Barbecue Magazine.
